The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used by the U.S. government to determine a family's eligibility for grants, work-study, and loans to pay for college. U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens (Permanent Residents) apply for federal financial aid using FAFSA.

Student Aid Report Sample.pdf

The Student Aid Report (SAR) is a paper or electronic document that gives you some basic information about your eligibility for federal student aid and lists your answers to the questions on your Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA).

Students will receive the Student Aid Report (SAR) via e-mail. Students must forward a copy of the SAR Report to Ms. Cielo Islas at c.islas@ljisd.com.

*IMPORTANT: If you are selected for VERIFICATION, keep in contact with your college and the GO-Center to ensure you complete the next steps for Verification.
