Some Writing Tips

• Structure

  • Use reference management software. You can :

    • Use existing reference management function in MS Word

    • Install Zotero and learn how to use it (highly recommended)

  • make sure all non-English examples are presented/glossed properly (see here)

  • ...

  • Use a writing assistant software

    • Use spell and grammar checker in MS Word, or

    • Use writing assistant software like Grammarly, Quillbot, etc

  • While guidelines for writing your final project may vary, I recommend that you follow IMRaD model of research Writing or a template i created on my own. By following one of these two models, it is easier to later adapt to the obligatory format.
