Online Safety for parents and Carers

The sites listed below have activities, resources and information to assist parents and careers and their learners stay safe online. This includes advice for how to talk to your child about online safety concerns, as well as information on how to set up age-appropriate parental controls and filtering at home.

  • Common Sense Media rates movies, TV shows, books, and more so parents can feel good about the entertainment choices they make for their kids. We offer the largest, most trusted library of independent age-based ratings and reviews.



  • Parent Info is a collaboration between Parent Zone and NCA-CEOP - support and guidance for parents and carers related to the digital world from leading experts and organisations




  • Inclusive Digital Safety Hub and Online Safety Hub, created by South West Grid for Learning in partnership with Internet Matters - support and tailored advice for young people with additional learning needs and their parents or carers
