PDFs are a cross platform file format by Adobe that enables us to deliver picture and text resources to any device learners might have at home. You will find the majority of maths assignment are questions on a PDF file. While all devices are capable of opening PDFs, how you can edit or competed the assignment is dependent on the device you own or the operating system you have running on it.
Use an free online PDF editor to add text and drawings
This requires the PDF to be:
Downloaded from Google Classroom
Uploaded to the PDF editor
Edited
Saved and downloaded from the PDF editor
Uploaded to Google Classroom.
It is very easy once you know how. There are many free PDF editors online and many are safe to use with non-sensitive information. The best one I have found is Sejda.
Make edits directly to the PDF if you are using a tablet computer or have a PDF editor.
The PDF can be annotated with your finger or a stylus if you are using a tablet computer such as an iPad or a touch screen Chromebook. It is possible to download and annotate PDFs on a desktop computer but this requires the use of a PDF editor. Some computers come with the ability to edit PDFs built in.
Print - Photograph - Upload
The PDF can be printed and completed with a pencil. The completed work can then be photographed or scanned, then uploaded to DB Primary and added as an attachment when handing in your assignment.
