Sharing large files

Students can share large files, such as photos and videos, easily without the need to email. Google drive gives students unlimited cloud storage, and they can allow teachers or friends to see any saved files that they choose, simply by setting sharing allowances and sharing a link (URL).

This video will show you haw to share any file with your teacher and/or classmates via Google Classroom.

Additional privacy and security

By following the steps in the video, you will have enabled anyone with a Little Ealing Google account the ability to see your chosen file WITH the the link. For extra security and privacy, rather than change the share settings from restricted to Little Ealing Primary School, add the names of the people you wish to share the file, then click copy link and share the link with those people. Anyone else who stumbles across the link will not be able to see the file.
