Alongside winter training, we’re launching the Masters Winter “Row the Lake” Challenge, an on-your-own workout challenge designed to keep everyone motivated and connected while Bantam Lake is frozen.
This challenge is participation-based, not performance-based. Every workout counts, and all activity helps your color team. Whether you’re on an erg, bike, treadmill, skis, or doing circuits at home, it all adds up.
Each week features a recommended workout with multiple options, but any on-your-own workout completed during the week still counts. Meters are tracked for fun and motivation, while team points are based on participation.
No erg access? No problem. Bike, run, ski, and bodyweight workouts all count using simple conversion guidelines.
Planning to participate in the Concept2 Erg Challenge? Those meters count here too — just be sure to log them so your team gets credit.

Save the Date – Masters 1K
As part of Ergathon weekend, we’ll cap off the challenge with a Masters 1K on Valentine’s weekend. This will be framed as a fun highlight of the winter — not a mandatory test — and a great way to celebrate the work everyone has put in over January and February.
