How can I develop and apply effective coaching skills to inspire and lead others in sports, while continuously improving my own coaching practice?

*There are no set elective fees for this course; however, other costs may arise throughout. These will be billed and paid for via a Compass event.
In this course, you will build essential coaching and instructional skills. You will explore the key qualities of effective coaching and evaluate both your own and others' coaching abilities to enhance your effectiveness. The opportunity to apply your coaching skills in real-world settings will be provided and you will aim to complete a Community Coaching — Essential Skills through the Australian Sports Commission. It will involve creating a comprehensive coaching plan for your selected sport.
