Gorillas are a highly endangered species, so obviously there threat amount is very high. I am not going to list all of the threats, only one. This threat is cobalt mining. Cobalt mining is a danger to gorillas because of placement. So much of the gorillas' habitat is destroyed due to mining. And cobalt being a common necessity in many things, (see Uses page) a lot of cobalt is produced and mined, by companies like Glencore. This is why the gorilla's current popularity trend is decreasing (see Western Lowland Gorilla page). This threat is very high because of cobalt mining and it's high demand. We have to take action in order to save these creatures.
