Why do we need to Help?

Why do we NEED to raise awareness. Well in a way, the answer to this question is always, because not a lot of people know or care about it. But what I am trying to inquire into is why do we need to save gorillas? Like the specific thing. But doing research, I checked several websites and nothing had an answer! I reworded the question several times with no results. So I thought, maybe that means, we don’t HAVE to save gorillas. But then you have to ask yourself, do I, ME, want to be responsible for the death of a species. Especially one so closely related to us! And I will not be responsible for that. To have to live with that guilt.

Now the real question is, will YOU kill a gorilla. And I have my OWN reasons why we shouldn’t kill gorillas.

1. Gorillas are practically our distant cousins. Would you want your cousin to die? To never roam this earth ever again?
2. We may be the dominant species on Earth, but imagine we weren’t. Imagine that we were in the gorilla’s perspective. How would you feel?
3. Think of all the discoveries we could make. How have we evolved and how they haven’t! Will THEY ever evolve? Maybe! But we would never know.
4. Finally, We are Animals Too! They deserve everything that we do, and more!

You may completely disagree with me. You may think, saving gorillas is a waste of my time. Or is ignoring it a waste of your time? Because I would think, No one would ever try to wipe out the human race. So why is killing the gorillas species okay? Here’s your answer: It isn’t.

Killing: = destruction of habitats.

This was not a researched question and answer. It is what I personally have analyzed and put together from other resources. This may be slightly opinionated. (evaluation of research)
