Welcome

After a very successful Enrichment week in July 2025 we are now starting to prepare for 2026! Therefore, we would like you to save the dates of Monday 13th July – Wednesday 15th July 2026. For those Year 7 parents/carers who are new to Lipson, we run our Enrichment week over three days instead of five days. Keeping to a three-day programme means that the cost is hopefully more affordable than a longer (5-day programme).

Enrichment week presents an exciting opportunity for students to take part in activities that they would not ordinarily have the chance to experience in a school context and it is also an opportunity to develop and strengthen positive relationships between staff and students. The aim is to enable every student to engage in an ‘enhanced’ experience with a range of alternative activities available across the week.

Costings:

There has been widespread coverage of the cost-of-living crisis and we understand that offering school trips does place families under pressure especially when children will be keen to attend particular trips. However, we hope to be able to offer a vast range of activities that appeal to all interests and budgets.

Our activity programme is intended to be accessible and affordable for all which is why we will endeavour to offer plenty of trips that are low cost/free among the higher priced trips.

Who is Enrichment open to?

The activities are open to all students in Y7 - 9. Year 11 and 13 students will have departed after their exams and Year 10 and 12 are scheduled to be on work experience during that week.

Changes for Enrichment 2026:

-          Parents / Carers will be sent a link to the booking form. This is based on your feedback from last year.

-          We are no longer running three-day trips. All trips will be day trips / activities. 

-          Places will not be allocated on a first come first served basis. Priority may be given to Year 9 for example as it is their final year for Enrichment.

-          All initial deposits will be under £40
