Global Accessibility Awareness Day

Global Accessibility Awareness Day is a day to "get everyone talking, thinking, and learning about digital access/inclusion and people with different disabilities". It was inspired by a blog post by Joe Devon, a Los Angeles-based web developer. Together, Joe and Jennison Asuncion, an accessibility professional from Toronto, utilized their extensive networks to make the idea a reality. 

GAAD occurs on the third Thursday of May each year.
