Student Accommodations: It's Easier than you Think
Julie Hessel & Tracy Dusseau; Thursday October 3, 12-1pm, CC210
Meeting the needs of diverse learners can, at first glance, seem difficult and overwhelming. There may be times when you think “I want to support student success but this is over my head - I’m not an expert on disabilities”.
In this workshop, CFAR staff will review the student accommodation process; discuss updates to the faculty notification letter, and examine ways to understand and implement approved accommodations. You will leave the session knowing when to reach out for assistance and who to contact for support. Remember, you don’t have to be the expert - the experts are just a call away.
