Unique Format
IMPACT will offer students more flexibility with their schedule. Students will have time to pursue their interests through a variety of projects, become involved in the community, and experience authentic, real-world learning. Students may also benefit from time to complete internships and explore work related to their field of interest.
IMPACT School Year
Students will commit to one year in the IMPACT school. IMPACT is a new program for 2025-2026 and will grow with the sophomore class as we add a grade level each year.
Daily Schedule
During the 2025-2026 school year, students will remain in the traditional LHS setting for periods 1-4 where they will enroll in math, science, and two elective classes. Students will attend IMPACT for periods 5-7.

IMPACT is set up with a flexible schedule. Shown above is one example of a week for an IMPACT student. Seminars will be cross-curricular topics covered for approximately 6 weeks at a time. Seminar topics will be chosen with the input of students and teachers. Examples are listed below.
Additionally, time will be dedicated to advisement, organization, and empowering students to manage their schedule and set goals. This will be done through workshops, Friday IMPACT Time, and daily check-ins.
