What is the Global Year 1 Program?
The Global Year 1 Program is TWG's smart program for students looking to accelerate their undergraduate studies in Australia & UK. The program allows students to save time, money and become academically successful overseas. The program allows students to study the first year of their undergraduate degree from their home, and progress on-campus to Australia/UK to complete the remaining 2 years on-campus.
After completing this program, students receive the Pearson BTEC HNC Level-4 certificate, which is an Ofqual accredited degree and is equivalent to the first year of an Australian/UK undergraduate degree. This certificate is recognised by various universities in India too.

The UK Year 1 Program offers a number of benefits to students:
Save Money: Studying abroad can be extremely expensive, with an undergraduate degree costing approximately INR 50-80 lakhs. With the Global Year 1 Program, you can save up to INR 20-25 lakhs on your education:

Intakes: TWG offers 3 intakes a year, unlike ONLY 1 or 2-3 intakes when applying directly to UK or Australian Universities respectively. If you have missed the University intake, this allows students to utilise their time and complete their 1st year of studies, instead of waiting for the next University intake
Document processing: Students can start studying immediately, giving them 1 extra year to ready their documentation including financial documents, English proficiency test etc.
Prepare for Academic Success: 30% students fail at least 1 subject in their first year, since they struggle with the study requirements abroad, which are very different from India.
With this program, students study up to 1 year of UK/Australian University courses, whilst benefitting from individualised academic support they receive from TWG. Hence, adjusting to university teaching styles whilst studying from home is a lot easier, setting up the student for academic success when they travel.

Class Start: Start of online classes with TWG.
Last Date of Enrolment: Last date by which students can enrol for this intake.
Census Date: Last day to drop /defer from this intake without incurring any financial losses.
Class Completion: Completion of online classes with TWG.
University Progression Dates: Earliest expected progression to campus in the US. This is dependent on students successfully receiving a student visa on time.
