The Local Scholarship Applications are now open!!
Below is the list of scholarships offered, instructions for applying and links to Main application as well as Local Scholarships that have a separate application.
Please make sure to read the instructions sheet thoroughly. This will help you with both the filling out of and submission the applications.
All applications need to be submitted to Mr. Weaks by 3:00 pm on February 13th. Please ask for all recommendations by February 5th, those requested after that date will not be required to be submitted.

Here is what you need to know to fill out the applications, make sure to read carefully.
Here is the link to the Main Local Scholarship Application. Remember to read the instructions for how to complete the application properly.
When you open an application you will need to make a copy, you will not be allowed to edit the application. To do this go to File, make a Copy and rename the document as your Last Name, First Name followed by the name of the scholarship.
Below are the applications for scholarships not covered by the main application.
Please make sure to look over all criteria and follow all instructions.
These applications are due by February 13th at 3:00pm.

Two $1,000 scholarships awarded.
2.0 or higher GPA, going into a 2 or 4 year college, or into a trade program. Essay required.
Two $1,500 scholarships awarded.
Must show involvement in extracurricular activities, top 25% of class. Separate letter of reccomendation and essay required.
Up to two $1,500 scholarships awarded.
Must be attending ICC in 2024 for a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester and provide proof of enrollment. Essay required.
One $1,000 scholarship awarded.
3.0 or higher GPA. Essay and activity verification form required.
Two $1,000 scholarships awarded.
Must have attended Norwood during at least 8th grade year and have graduated from Norwood. 3.0 GPA or higher. Essay and activity verification form required.
Four $500 scholarships awarded
Must have taken Industrial Tech classes at LCHS and be going into either Automotive or Welding fields. 2.0 or high GPA and essay required.
One $500 scholarship awarded.
Must be planning to attend two or four year school. 2.5 or higher GPA and essay required.
One $250 scholarships awarded
Must have taken FCS classes and planning to go into a health or science related field. 3.5 GPA or higher and essay required.
One $500 scholarship awarded.
Essay and formal Letter of Recommendation required.
One $500 scholarship awarded.
Must have participated in Limestone High School Girls Soccer all four years.
One $500 scholarship awarded.
Must have played 4 years of Softball at LCHS
Must have participated in LGSA a total of four years (non-consecutive)
