The project has been realized by 5 students (Serena and Matteo from 3H, Stefano and Paola from 4B and Chiara from 5F) attending the Traditional and Applied Sciences High School for Scientific Studies, who have shown passion and a significant personal interest in Science.
During the contest "Mad for Science" they stood out for their sensibility regarding health and environmental issues, for their autonomy which grew within the laboratory activities, for their graphic and IT skills and for the excitement that has been essential for the teamwork
The team was coordinated by the teacher Rosanna Gnisci, who represented all the teachers that took part in this project.
For many years our High school has participated in competitions and national contests; with some failures, but also with many successes we understood the value of collaboration and interdisciplinarity. For the 2023 edition of Mad for Science we decided to outdo ourselves: creating a scientific project including many different minds and facilitating discussions. This work is the outcome of cooperation between teachers of manifold subjects and differently-aged students : our shared goal is to preserve the environment:
"Future is in our hands!"
We must mention all the students who helped us, even with small details, to realize our project; we also have to mention that we collaborated with many sponsors, and we were able to receive feedback and help from qualified companies. Thanks to the participation of many teachers and students the project has been extended to other classes of Ettore Majorana High school.
