Dean Smith has been associated with Liberty Christian School for nearly 15 years as a parent and teacher. In 2020 she returned to LCS in a new role as the Academic Advisor. She has since moved into the role of Dean of Academic Affairs, in which she monitors and supports the academic success of our students.

Being the military child, Dean Smith has traveled the globe and has worn many professional hats. Children's Minister, Homeschool Mom, Fitness Instructor, Clown, Childcare Manager and Teacher are only a few of the roles that have uniquely prepared her for varied nature of her new position.

Her teaching career has taken her from Illinois to Alaska, Michigan to Indiana and across the world to the United Kingdom. Formal teaching experiences, as well as international missions work, local outreaches and disaster relief have equipped her with the unique perspective needed to be an active guide for the students and families at Liberty Christian School.

Mrs. Smith is married to Steven Smith, the LCS High School & Middle School Swim Coach. She is the Step-Mom of two Liberty Christian graduates and Momma of an LCS 1st grader.
