1 The Indiana Core 40 Diploma with honors requires students complete Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry, and a 4th year math class.
2 Three years in one language or two years in two languages.
All honors graduates will be designated as Graduation with Academic Distinction by wearing a gold cord/tassel around their shoulders at graduation.
All students must meet state standards for graduation, take the SAT (new Graduating Qualifying Exam) and complete the Graduation Pathways requirements. New students entering LCS must meet these requirements as well. High school level courses taken in middle school will be included on the high school transcript and will be figured into the high school GPA unless the student retakes the course during high school. Starting with the class of 2023, all students will follow the Graduation Pathways requirements. See below for more information on Graduation Pathways.
