Music classes at Liberty Christian Elementary are engaging and fun. Each class meets once a week. Students sing and play instruments, focusing on notes and rhythms. They also experience music through listening to different types of music and through movement. Students at LCS gain an understanding of music in relation to culture, history, and the arts, but more importantly, in relation to God's purpose for music to bring Him glory.

The music curriculum at Liberty Christian utilizes National Music Education Standards and Indiana State Standards to develop musical skills at the appropriate age levels of the students.

All students are a part of a performances once a semester. In the first semester, students perform in a Christmas Program and in the spring, they perform for Grandparents' Day.

Mark your calendar on December 14, 2017 for the Elementary Christmas Program entitled, "Glory to God in the Highest!" And, the Grandparents'Day performance will be on April 13, 2018.

The Music Department offers music elective classes that provide students with a well rounded education. These classes will strengthen their knowledge in theory, composition and music reading skills.
