Abigail Kasberg is entering her 7th year of teaching, and her 6th year at Santa Rita Middle School. She has led the SRMS Choir program since SRMS opened, she the program has received consistent sweepstakes awards at UIL under her direction. 

She grew up in Amarillo, TX where she graduated from Tascosa High School, and she was a member of the 2015 Texas All-State Choir during her senior year. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Music Studies with a choral emphasis. During her time at UT, she sang with the UT Concert Chorale, UT Chamber Singers, and the Longhorn Singers, as well as various professional ensembles around Austin. She was also a counselor for the Longhorn Music Camp during her summers in college. Mrs. Kasberg has previously served as the Assistant Music Director at University Christian Church in Austin. 

She is currently an active member of Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Choral Directors Association. Outside of school, she also enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her puppy Daisy.
