Planned Absences
Meet with your manager to determine the impact of your absence. When possible, ensure other people on the GL aren’t taking time off, too.
Email your manager and GL team and indicate if you need duty coverage and notes about your lesson.
Login to Paychex and request the time off.
Once your manager has approved on Paychex, they will add to the Libertas calendar.
Once approved, create a sub overview and prepare lesson(s). Share the plans with your manager 72 hours in advance for feedback. All materials should be printed/left in an accessible location.
Unplanned Absences
Notify your manager + Dan + Vanessa by phone no later than 6am on the day of the absence [preferably the day before].

Notify your grade level.
Admin will work to ensure there is coverage either with an in house sub, through sub vendor, or internally.
Log in Paychex within 24 hours of returning.
