Summer EBT 2026 (aka SUN Bucks) is a benefits program that provides families a $120 one-time benefit for each eligible school-aged child. The benefits are intended for the household to buy groceries when school is not in session. Summer is a time when many children lose the free and reduced-price meals they get at school and when households may need help putting meals on the table. Most eligible households will receive benefits automatically, but some households will need to apply.
Summer EBT is available in addition to free meals that children of all ages can receive at summer meal sites in their communities.
Summer EBT issuances are planned for May 18-25, 2026 for children that are automatically enrolled.

The Loft - The Loft program is designed to engage teens in their mental health journey; to encourage teen voices to empower and advocate for their own services and family support. Located in Brookfield, IL. The Loft in collaboration between Pillars Community Health and NAMI Metro Suburban.
Call4Calm - Individuals can also text 5-5-2-0-2-0, with keywords such as “unemployment” or “food” or “shelter” and will receive information on how to navigate and access supports and services.
Findhelp.org - Aunt Bertha's free search tool is now called findhelp.org. Findhelp.org will continue to connect all people in need to the programs that serve them (with dignity and ease)
