'Technology is a massive enabler to that [independence and self-efficacy]. We are a highly inclusive school and children with high levels of need can recognise that they can use the technology maybe to break down a writing barrier or a reading issue. They can use it to help them keep concentration and focus, they can use it to block out things that might distract them and take them away from learning and they can use it to look up information and go back to previous learning, to refresh and help them retrieve and breakdown, particularly looking to reduce load and cognitive load for them.'
