There are many different camera angles that a video can be shot in. Each angle changes how a person can look or even how much of the environment around them you see. Here are some different kind of shots and angles:
Wide Shot: a person/animal can be seen from head to toe
Close-up: head and shoulders, see facial expressions
High angle: camera looks down, making the subject look not important
There are three main parts of creating a movie or video: pre-production, production, post-production.
Pre-production is the creative process of planning the elements needed to produce a feature film, TV show, play, or any other type of creative performance. Pre-production is the first part of a three-step process. In pre-production, the following things take place:
A script is written. A script shows the order the actor or speaker reads their lines.
Plan how much money they want to spend on the project.
Work with a team to plan the different parts and locations of the script.
Look over and finalize everything, then schedule and hire actors.
For many, production is the most exciting part of the filmmaking process. The production stage is when all the actual shooting and recording happens with cameras, actors, and any props that may be needed. Before production, it’s important to get permission to film in any locations that aren’t public.
Post-Production is after filming, when you edit the video and audio material. During this time, you split and assemble video footage and add music and sound effects. This step can take a few months to even a year to finish. In post-production, the following things take place:
Editing the Content
Sound Editing and Adding Music
Adding Visual Effects
Sound Mixing
Color Grading
After filming video clips and taking photos, it is time to edit the video.
Video editing software is a software program that can edit, change, record, or manipulate a video clip or movie file.
We often video record something to share it with others. Editing the video allows you to make changes to the video after you record it. Editing makes the final video more appealing to your audience.
The way you hold the iPad matters. To stabilize the iPad, you can place it somewhere when recording or hold it in one place.
Many videos have movement, which means the iPad has to move. Hold the iPad level, or straight, when you film. This will help reduce the movement in the video so it isn’t shaky.
Make a short animation, a documentary, a video of your favorite song, or short story (use candies, stickies, LEGOS, or make a claymation -if available)
Decide the message….No bullying, a cooking lesson, an educational tutorial, etc.
