Schoology Users
The grades reflected in PowerSchool PowerTeacher Pro (PTP) are what will appear on report cards and student records. Schoology users need to know this because sometimes assignments, scores and grades can be out of sync between Schoology and PTP. (Both systems calculate the current course grade independently.) When this out of sync situation occurs, concerned students and parents, who view the public portal, might contact you.
Contact Anna Yuen X121 for help when grades are out of sync between the two systems.

4. Then add a test assignment, score and see if students' grades are updated.
Recalculate Final Grades in PTP
Use this feature to recalculate final grades for one or more classes.
Most times final grades in PowerTeacher Pro should calculate automatically. If not, you can force a recalculation when necessary. Use the recalculate tool after making significant changes, such as adding multiple assignment scores for students who transferred from another class. Also, recalculate grades when your PowerSchool administrator changes a setting that affects PowerTeacher Pro, such as the grade calculation formula. (If the reporting term or class is locked, grades will not be updated if you recalculate final grades.)

Grading > Traditional (left menu)
Click gear icon (upper right)
Select Recalculate Final Grades
