Add Assignment

PowerTeacher Pro (PTP)

Assignment List
Click the plus sign + located in the upper right of page
Select Assignment

Assignment tab

Displays Classes selected to receive this new assignment
Select down arrow to add this assignment to more classes
Type your Assignment Name*
Choose the assignment Category*
Choose the Due Date*
Score Entry Points: enter the number of points the assignment is worth

Standards tab

Standards tab
Check "Auto-Calculate Assignment Standards Scores"!!!
Show All tab

(Domain standards, in ALL CAPS, are auto-calculated)

Select one or more Child standards, below the DOMAIN standards
Save and Close button

Students tab

All students in the selected class(es) will receive this assignment by default, uncheck or check students as needed.

Publish tab

Choose when to Publish Assignment
Select if you want to Publish Scores in the PowerSchool Portal that is visible to parents and students
Save and Close

Edit an Assignment

PTP > Grading > Assignment List >

Choose the correct class

Find the assignment > click Edit (pencil icon)
