I am extremely excited to be part of the transition to Chapin Middle School! After spending 20 years teaching 6th grade ELA, it feels fantastic to be back in sixth grade and working with students at such an exciting time in their educational journey. I’m looking forward to helping make this transition a positive and memorable experience while supporting students as they take on new challenges, build confidence, and grow as learners.
It is a true privilege to witness the growth and development of your children from August to May—an experience that continues to be the most rewarding part of my teaching career. I am genuinely excited for the year ahead and look forward to partnering with you to make it a meaningful and successful journey for your child.

More About Me...
I grew up in a small town called Rocky Point, and I’m beyond thrilled to now be part of the Chapin community with my family. Some of you may know my husband, Coach Donadoni, from Ballentine Elementary. Outside of school, our days are joyfully busy with our two boys—Jack (15) and Alex (13). That sweet girl in my picture is my neice Isla! They’re growing up fast, so we recently updated our family photo to keep up!
In my free time, I enjoy mountain biking, cooking, gardening, and cheering on my boys during their sports games—it always brings back fond memories of my own days on the field. Life with them keeps us on our toes, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
This year, we also welcomed a new addition to our family—our dog, Rex. I’m sure you’ll be hearing plenty of stories about him throughout the year!
