It is with great excitement to have the opportunity to work at Chapin Intermediate school. My name is Danielle Donadoni and I have been teaching for 24 years. This will be my fourth year at the Chapin Intermediate building.
This year I will be teaching 5th grade English/Language Arts and Social Studies. I completed my undergraduate degree at Adelphi University with a double major in elementary education and history. These are two subject areas I am very passionate about and I look forward to infusing that into my everyday lessons.
It is a true privilege to witness the growth and development of your children from August to May—an experience that continues to be the most rewarding part of my teaching career. I am genuinely excited for the year ahead and look forward to partnering with you to make it a meaningful and successful journey for your child.
I grew up in a small town called Rocky Point, and I’m beyond thrilled to now be part of the Chapin community with my family. Some of you may know my husband, Coach Donadoni, from Ballentine Elementary. Outside of school, our days are joyfully busy with our two boys—Jack (14) and Alex (12). That sweet girl in my picture is my neice Isla! They’re growing up fast, so we recently updated our family photo to keep up!
In my free time, I enjoy mountain biking, cooking, gardening, and cheering on my boys during their sports games—it always brings back fond memories of my own days on the field. Life with them keeps us on our toes, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
This year, we also welcomed a new addition to our family—our dog, Rex. I’m sure you’ll be hearing plenty of stories about him throughout the year!
I look forward to an exciting and fun year! I absolutely cannot wait to meet all of my new students this year!
