The CMS chapter of the National Junior Beta Club sponsors 2 mandatory major service projects a year (Fall & Spring) in addition to school based mini-projects throughout the year! Mini-Projects will take place during our monthly meetings. These major/mini projects include but are not limited to:
We Care Food Drive
Winter Toy Drive
All members are expected to participate in the mini & major projects. If a member is unable to attend, they must complete another project in an allotted time period. Members cannot count Mini or Major projects as individual time. Please share any ideas you have for service projects with our chapter sponsor.
Individual Community Service Hours
The first 5 hours of individual community service should be submitted by December 19, 2025. The remaining hours of community service hours should be submitted by May 1, 2026.
School based major/mini projects done as a group cannot count count towards the members individual community service hours.
All service hours submitted must be signed by the project coordinator. Students should submit/upload a screenshot of their signed service hours to the Beta Club Service Hours Google Form. Students do not need to turn in a paper copy of their signed service hours. Family members are not allowed to sign off on community service projects.
