Chapin NJROTC offers several extracurricular teams.
Chapin NJROTC offers several extracurricular teams.
Each of the teams helps to build individual character, leadership, and teamwork. Our teams take part in competitions against other schools within our region, much like regular high school sports teams. These competitions start at the local level, and can then advance to state, regional, and national-level competitions.

Chapin NJROTC offers the following teams: Drill/Color Guard, Physical Training team, Rifle team, Academic team, and Drone team.

Team members are able to earn ribbons and aiguillettes to wear on their uniforms, giving Cadets a sense of pride in their accomplishments.

Academic Team (Trivia and knowledge)
Drill Team (High octane precision marching)
Color Guard ("The face of the unit;" Carry the American flag at ceremonies and competitions
Rile team (Marksmanship with Air Rifles)
Drone team (Program and fly drones; work towards FAA certification)
