- Observational Drawing of an object from your home with a range of values in pencil or pen/ink
- Observational Drawing of an object from your home with a specific color scheme using any available media
- Observational Drawing of an object from your home, filled in with collage technique (color or greyscale)
APRIL 20-26: Choice Board on Color Relationships - Application + Analysis (choose ONE!)
- Interpretive "draw" - listen to music and create a full-page composition. Add color to convey mood!
- Stop-motion or flip-book (google slides) "Color Story"
- Review several color theory websites and rate/rank them
APRIL 13-19: Choice Board on Color Relationships (choose ONE!)
- Create a found object assemblage for ONE TYPE of color relationship (analogous, monochromatic, complementary, split complementary, square, etc)
- Write a short story about a "color relationship" that conveys something about the colors involved
- Create a 12-song "Rainbow Playlist" of songs, one for each color on the wheel, and explain why you chose it/how it corresponds to the color mood
APRIL 6-12: Choice Board on Introduction to Color Theory (choose ONE!)
- Create a 12-color Color Wheel using objects found around your home
- Interview a family member or teach a lesson on color vocabulary (3 terms minimum)
- Create a 12-color Color Wheel using a protractor and/or compass. Label all colors and color families
