• • Superintendent's Update: August 30, 2022: All Massachusetts superintendents recently had an opportunity to participate in a conference call with Commissioner Riley. The purpose of the call was to discuss health and safety for the fall. There are no major changes to health and safety protocols this year. DESE’s basic message is this: the same health guidance that existed in the spring will be the guidance that is used this fall. For those interested, the Commissioner’s Weekly Update is posted below. It is important to know that any member of the LPS school community who wishes to continue to mask will be supported in that choice.

DESE and DPH issued a joint memo with COVID information for the upcoming school year aligned with the new CDC guidance released last week.
