Organize Your Technology
Use Google!
Sign into Chrome browser when using a computer/Chromebook, so access to all Google tools is integrated
Sync your LPS Google account to your personal devices. This way you can quickly access your LPS documents and can sync to your school calendar
Use Google Calendar to keep homework and other assignment organized and sync this calendar to your phone
Use Google Keep to organized notes, checklists, voice notes, photos and add them directly to your Google Doc or Slides with Tools ->Keep Notepad (click here for Keep tutorial)
Organize your Google Drive!
Make folders, then color code folders (right click, change color) or star folders (right click, add star) for quick access
Every time you make a new Doc, organize it into the correct folder
Title docs with appropriate names so that you can find them later, if needed
Add extensions and add-ons that help you save and organize your work

Maintaining a Binder
Print a subject color coded schedule and tape it to the front
Organize calendar either by week or month
Dividers for each subject or by week, using the colors on your schedule
Make it part of your homework routine to organize any un-filed papers each day
Add an event to your calendar/planner to remind you to organize your binder every week
Add an event to your calendar/planner to cue you to deep-clean your binder each quarter/semester
