Before you start your homework, make a plan for your homework session. The plan should indicate what assignments you will work on and how much time you will spend on each assignment. After you finish an assignment, mark down how long it actually took and compare this value to your prediction. Try using something like this :
Try a digital homework planner. Unlike Google Calendar, these are specifically geared towards homework, so if you need more structure in your calendar, a homework planner calendar might be better.
Try a custom homework planner to add in even more customization:
Use (or create!) a detailed planner like this to record homework and make a plan for your evening homework time
Try a weekly planner in Google Docs like this one

Use Google Calendar!!! This is a great option, because it syncs with Google Classroom and other Google products. It’s also easy to share with your teachers, peers, and parents.
Color-code your different classes
For juniors and seniors - watch this video of using Google Calendar for your whole life and planning for college/work:
If you use a paper planner, write down what you need to do your homework in a different color so you can quickly see it when you’re packing up your backpack at the end of the day
Create a checklist in Google Keep of the materials you need for homework. Update the list daily as you write down your homework
Create (and use!) a homework planner with a separate column for materials, like this one
Use Google Keep to make an end-of-the-day checklist so that you remember to bring home all of your materials

Try the suggested planners under “Homework Planning” above
Take a picture of the assignment from the board. You can attach the picture to your Google Calendar event. Or you can add the picture to Keep and set a "reminder".
Use a fun to-do list like Epic Win to track daily assignments
Try setting a reminder/timer to ring five minutes before the block ends in order to remind you to write down your homework
Try a daily homework planner (instead of a weekly/monthly planner) to help focus on the day. This will also allow you to quickly visually see that each subject is filled in. Save each planner in a monthly folder in your Google Drive.
Use a time tracker, like Task Timer, to track how long individual assignments are taking
Use a tool to block distracting websites, like Block Sites
If you’re using an iOS device (like an iPad or iPhone), use Guided Access to lock yourself into the app you’re supposed to be using.
Create a plan for your homework session. What homework will you complete first? What task will you work on next? Schedule in breaks for using your phone or going for a walk.
Create a homework station with everything you need to complete homework so that you can focus strictly on working
Use a prioritization matrix like this to help figure out how assignments should be prioritized.
