This course is an introductory laboratory-based course designed to meet the SC Curriculum Standards in Earth Science. The five core areas of the Earth Science course standards include:

After being successful in Earth Science, there are a variety of other classes offered at LHS and LTC that you could use your Earth Science knowledge to help you be successful in those courses as well.
