Students will be allowed to use a calculator for this unit.
In Topic 7: Area, Surface Area, and Volume, students will be:
~ measuring angles using a protractor.
~ identifying complementary and supplementary angles, and finding missing angle measurements
~ finding the area of parallelograms, triangles, trapezoids, kites, and composite figures.
~ finding the surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms.
~ finding the surface area of square and triangular pyramids.
~ finding the volume of rectangular prisms.
