Fourth Grade

Fourth graders have been working on a Christmas STEM challenge, "Santa's Parachute." Their goals are to make the parachute fall as slowly as possible and not to lose any of Santa's presents.   They have also been working on their science fiction unit. They are currently creating a sci-fi invention that can be used in the plot of a story.  Logic puzzles and research projects are also part of their Soar day.
