Fifth Grade

Fifth graders have been working on a Christmas STEM challenge, "Santa's Parachute." Their goals are to make the parachute fall as slowly as possible and not to lose any of Santa's presents. They have also been working on their unit on "Mysterious Things." They have studied UFO's and ghosts. They examine evidence and eye witness accounts and decide if any of these are credible.  Logic, research, and quiz bowl practice are also part of their Soar day.
