The movie follows the lide of the protagonist, Carl Fredrickson. After his love of his life, his wife passes away, he turns into a very grumpy old man with no friends and outside connection. He always reminisces about his wife's dream about going to "Paradise Falls." After some events happen, Fredrickson uses hundreds of balloons to take his house to South America, when unexpectedly a young boy joins him. The adventures they witness and go through make up the crux of the story. This movie is both very touching, and funny. It has many themes like friendship and love. I would recommend this movie!

It has a very creative idea of toys coming to life. In this movie, the toys are shown doing everything humans do: talk, walk, run, jump, and think. It also shows how they feel about being a toy and having a human to play with them. Woody the Sheriff helps guide toys on their journey of being a toy and the roles they must play. The movie also teaches the importance of working together as a team and problem solving.

Not only did it teach everyone that you can be anything no matter your identity, but it also has a lot of suspense and humor. In the movie, police officer Judy Hopps meets and fox named Nick Wilde, and they become instant best friends. They go on a mission to find a missing otter, in hope to make Chief Bogo proud. It also showed a strong friendship between the two animals.

The movie Soul is a great movie for people of all ages. The movie is about a music teacher and aspiring musician Joe, who accidentally kills himself. While trying to find his body that separated from his soul (hence the name of the movie, Soul) he learns many valuable lessons and meets friends on the way. This movie has some very joyful as well as some very depressing moments. I love this movie so so much, and I recommend it to all!

The movie was really good, it was a funny movie, it was sad, and it had a lot of action. It had all the components of a good movie and really held them together with a strong storyline. The ending was good as it left people hanging on a cliff with what would happen in the next movie, Avengers: Endgame. I really liked how it brought all the movies into 1 movie and how every movie Marvel has made in the MCU has had its fair share in this movie. The movie was really good and although it’s a little late, I would recommend this to anyone and watch it before Endgame.

This movie is a sci-fi movie and is about on a new planet. In a settlement in The New World, where there are only men living in the settlement. They have a special ability to unleash the "Noise" which people can hear your thoughts. A girl named Viola crash landed into the planet near the settlement. The settlement people want to chase her down and kill her, but a boy named Todd helps her escape and get help.

A comedic and witty romantic movie, Ten Things I Hate About You is a 90s classic. Starring heartthrob Heath Ledger (may he Rest In Peace) who was easily my favorite character in the movie for his comedic timing and vulnerability. His costar Julia Stiles gives also a wonderful performance as mean spirited, smart Kat Stratford. They both have great chemistry together on screen . The heart of the movie is what makes it so memorable and such a classic, with such great performances by the leads. Could be boring at times but still enjoyable.

Easily one of the best 90s movies that perfectly encapsulates what it was like to live in the time (though I may have not have been alive). Alicia Silverstone gives a performance of a lifetime with her portrayal of Cher, the lead of the movie. It is fun watching her grow and mature as a person through the course of the movie. I promise you there will be one catchy saying in the movie that sticks with you. This movie also has a great soundtrack that gives a great 90s feel.

Easily the best Shrek movie, and that is saying a lot. With a message of not judging others by how they look and self love, Shrek 2 brings the audience on a ride of twists and turns. The movie is underscored by (and I am dead serious) one of the best movie soundtracks I have ever heard. This is because each song fits so well with what happens in the plot and go so hard. With a witty and hilarious script, Shrek 2 is something enjoyable for the whole family, regardless of age. This movie is a classic and if you haven’t watch it now on Hulu!

Avengers Endgame is a movie for the MCU, which includes Marvel movies like Iron Man, Captain America The First Avenger, and Thor. Do not read further if interested, and you did not watch any previous movies leading to this movie. Endgame takes place after the events of Avengers Infinity War, where Thanos successfully gets all the infinity stones and wiped out half of humanity. This movie follows the aftermath of the event, including how each character is coping with it. The movie has its laughs and sad moments. I totally recommend Avengers Endgame, and the Marvel movies in general to anyone.

Bridge to Terabithia is a heartwarming tale, viable for all ages. It tells the story of Jesse, who is a kid that is constantly bullied at school. He befriends another person named Leslie, a fellow student who also is an "outsider." As their friendship blossoms, they create an imaginative land called Terabithia that can be accessed by crossing a lake. In Terabithia, there are all sorts of magical creatures and Jesse and Leslie are the king and queen. The story then goes on to show how these kids coped with the problems in their life.

Coco is a wonderful family Disney movie. It is funny and emotional all at the same time. It also provides a background of Latin culture by featuring The Day of The Dead. Overall Coco is a touching movie to watch with your family. It is one of my favorite movies and I would highly recommend watching it!

The movie is not in English but still is totally worth the watch. It is about a bullied girl who saves a troubled boy and he begins to protect her. It sounds cheesy but it is truly a heart breaking movie, that has great acting performances from two very young actors/actresses. It follows the idea of loneliness, bullying, school, school system and the legal system all at once. It in my opinion is a move that cannot be easily forgotten and is very well done from the acting to the cinematography.

A capitol police officer(John) was denied being part of being in the secret service to protect the president. He doesnt want to dissapoint his daughter, he takes her on a tour to the White House. During the tour, a heavily armed paramilitary group attacks and controls the White House. As the capitol is in chaos, John needs to help escape with his daughter and the president. It gets really intense and is very worth to watch.

This movie was about a prehistoric family who lived in a dangerous place at the time. But soon the daughter, Eep runs into a guy who knows how to escape. The dad Grug doesn't trust him but they continue onto a dangerous and fun journey and eventually they found out that the caveman guy was right about the destruction and world ending. This movie was excellent because it was funny and had great meanings. This movie was entertaining and great for kids.

If you love American history, this is the movie for you. This play has a diverse cast, and different ethnic styles of music. The songs in the play discuss the American Revolution, different parts in Hamilton's life, creating the national bank, and the debate and election between Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr. This movie can be found on Disney+. It is rated PG-13, so there is adult language. I would recommend this movie for 7th graders and above, since this is the topic taught in 7th grade.

This is a beautiful movie. It is about these two teen geniuses that believe they have unlocked the secret to time travel, but when something major happens they end up testing sooner an more extremely than they had planned. While one might consider this sci-fi, it didn't seem very fiction to me. The acting and realism of the scenes makes it seem so much like something one might see in real life. It wasn't until I finished that it really clicked that this was movie and not real life. I also love the fact that the two main characters think in a way that I do I feel like it hit really close to home.

Jojo Rabbit is a comedy movie that is taking place in WW2. Jojo is a young German boy, training to be a Hitler youth. During his trainings, it was very funny. His mother though, was helping Jews hide during the time. He starts talking to the Jewish girl hidden in the attic and they become friends.

Your Name is a gorgeous film on teen romance and deals with multiple themes from loss and maturity. The storytelling right from the get-go is virtually perfect as you watch Mitsuha and Taki deal with the countless challenges that appear and their development was outstanding. This doesn't even include the visuals that are out of this world. The story and visuals complement each other flawlessly and don't take away from the other aspect. Seeing the juxtaposition between Mitsuha's rural lifestyle to Taki's urban one is excellent. The balance between the depressing reality of life and the beauty it can provide is such a fantastic concept that only an animated film can truly encompass, and Your Name does the job perfectly.

This movie is a work of art. The world building, the character design, the storyline, and the soundtrack are all incredible. Throughout the movie, you meet a variety of characters, and the backstories behind each character allow you to sympathize and truly come to love all of them. The movie offers an interesting and exciting twist on a well-known and relatively overdone storyline, and the animation style and musical elements do nothing but add to the already amazing movie. Overall, this is a great movie that you don’t need to be well-versed in the Marvel universe to enjoy, and there’s definitely something in it for everyone.

The Garden of Words follows 15-year-old high school student Takao Akizuki and the mysterious 27-year-old woman Yukari Yukino as they meet at the national garden over the course of a couple of months as they develop their relationship. The main dialogue on growing older and maturity is especially interesting with the dynamic between Takao and Yukari. Despite this complex message, I felt as though the film was lacking much build up in the story which can be attributed to the short length of only 46 minutes. This was definitely the weak aspect of the film, however, the visuals were outstanding and were easily the most prominent feature. Each scene was beautifully animated and the amount of effort put into each frame of animation was extremely evident. Overall, the film was great with the gorgeous visuals and the fantastic message on maturity but fell a little short on the plot between Takao and Yukari.

The karate kid was a good movie. This movie is full of action, drama, and much more! The movie is about a high school student named Daniel who is constantly involved in fights with a group of students in his new school. They went to a dojo called Cobra Kai. After witnessing one of the fights, the maintenance worker at his new apartment, Mr. Miyagi, agrees to teach him karate for self defense. This movie kept me on my feet the whole time.

The Lego Movie 2 is the follow up movie to The Lego Movie . The difference is that after the invasion took place things were different in the city were Emmet lived. Every one got tough and and lost all sense of joy to there lives except Emmet. He is still just as active and happy as usual. In the movie the aliens that came to invaded the planet capture Emmet's friends and take them away to there leader who is supposedly were "nice". After they get captured by the aliens Emmet goes on a journey to save his friends but is stopped with many problems, "One of them just like him".

The emoji movie is about a emoji that can't be his emoji the (meh) emoji. He can't stop being other emoji's this leads to him messing up when he was chosen to be sent on the phone by Alex. Gene the Meh Emoji was then chosen to be terminated by smiler the original Emoji. While escaping the the terminating robots he meets jailbreak a hacker and thumbs up a non-popular emoji. With jailbreak and thumbs up they find a way to solve there problems.

Detective Pikachu is about a boy's, father going missing. In the movie the main character Tim is left with the challenge on finding his dad. In the movie Tim is a teen who hates Pokémon, but he is met with Pikachu his dads former partner (pet). With Pikachu, Tim goes from place to place searching for his dad. On his search he meets Lucy a reporter who has been trying to find what happened to Tim's father also. Then Lucy, Tim, and Pikachu search and find what happens to Tim's father but is stopped by.....

This movie was about the avengers working to get their teammates who were erased by Thanos. 5 years passed since there disappearance, the people who are left have to work to reach Thanos and prevent him from destroying more planets and to get their old friends back.

This movie is about a trainee detective who is put to work on a missing woman case. She has to work and get information from a well known murderer, Hannibal Lector. She works alone in the case and faces many conflicts.

The movie is old and extremely cheesy, it is almost enduring. The movie has a weird plot line and is extremely weirdly edited. The best way I can describe the movie is a montage of montages with bad acting. It is comical how bad it is and is on YouTube, so if you have an hour and 18 minutes to watch this strange movie, I do recommend it for a good laugh but the movie is by no means good. The characters are weird, it had bad acting and exaggeratory sound effects.

The movie follows a group of kids who gain incredible powers in this found-film style movie. The characters development and interaction is so natural and through out the movie you almost forget that they are actors and not actual friends. The movie does have some cheesy effects but this does not hinder the movie at all. The whole movie is easily one of my favorite movies due to just how easily you can get interested and sucked into the world created. The movie also has some familiar faces like Michael B. Jordan!

The Croods: a new age is about a family of cavemen who live in the wild defending them self's from animals and predators. During there time in the wild they come to meet a wall and when they go across it they come to meet more casual cavemen and women that are more advanced. For example they have a food source from planting and they have a huge house, a elevator and walls surrounding there paradise from wild animals. In the end they family was related to one of the cave men and leads to a fight causing another fight overall leading to them fighting a huge monster and living together.

Robots is about a poor family with a son who wants to become an inventor when he grows up. When he goes to met is idol Mr. Big Weld he comes to realize that he was gone. This book is book is overall about a boy trying to become a successful inventor to make his parents proud. This movie has a lot of action and inspiration, and I recommend it to all the action people.

This movie is a holiday classic and I would recommend it if you haven't watched it. It is kind of old but I'm pretty sure almost every one has seen it. As the movies go on they get worse and worse though.

This twelve minute film takes you on an emotional rollercoaster through this family's life. It begins with just the parents at a dining room table when shadows on the wall begin to appear, fighting, yet the parents are sad and quiet. They separate and the mother is lead to a room that makes it apparent that someone is missing from the family, a daughter. A sad tone takes over and it's revealed that she is now longer with them as a young third shadow appears and begins to try and lighten the mood. The shadows begin to travel and end up taking the viewer back to when the girl was born, through her life and up to the tragic event that she is lost in. They beautifully create all the emotions needed to bring someone to tears through shadows and flashbacks, perfectly conveying the message without needing to say a word. By the end of the film there is a clear message and it was beautifully conveyed.

In Kung Fu Rabbit there are three main characters Fu the rabbit, Biggie the rabbit, and Penny the cat. In the book the Shifu is the master and something happens to him. During this Shifu gives his powers to Fu. Now Fu was told to defeat Slash the panda and take back the region from his command. Also to give Penny Kingship to the region. At the end Fu succeeds and defeat's Slash.

Pride and Prejudice is a two hour and fifteen-minute drama-based romance film that is based on the novel by Jane Austen. The movie follows the protagonist, Elizabeth Bennet, and her family and their struggles as a middle-class family.
The director, Joe Wright, had an exceptional use of filming the novel come movie.
The director painted the scenes vividly and provided accurate portrayals of how each character should have been portrayed. It fully demonstrated a deep understanding of each character, from the doting older sister to the perverted soldier.

The movie peter rabbit is about a rabbit named peter and his family. During the movie there mean neighbor passes away bringing a even nastier neighbor. This leads to them fighting with the neighbor and so forth. The ending is strange but expected to me. This movie is a great movie it is funny and thrilling. I recommend you watch.

Ralph breaks the internet is a part 2 of Wreck it Ralph it is about the two main characters Ralph and Vanellope living as game characters. During the movie something bad happens to Vanellope's games this causes Ralph and Vanellope to go to the internet to find the piece to the game that is broken. During there journey they go through a lot of trouble they go through the game Slaughter Race and even go to the dark web but overall they make it through all of the troubles and end up going to where they belong.

Baby, is an hearing impaired orphan who is working for the crime boss Doc. When they rob banks, Baby will be the getaway driver. He meets a waitress at a diner and they fall in love. Baby wants to quit his job as a crime member. But his fellow makes it very hard for him to leave.

This is based of a true story of Desmond Doss. He is a World War 2 veteran and he refused to use a gun so he was the medic. He was made fun of but he will later prove himself. During the invasion of Okinawa, he had saved over 70 people from the Japanese. From kept going back into the battlefield to save people and it was very heroic.

Catfish is a movie about discovering a catfish and the story behind the catfish. After a few months of receiving artwork from an 8 year old named Abby, Yaniv and his team discover that not everything is what it seems. Through Facebook and some online searches, they notice that something is off. The three go all the way to Michigan to find out what everything's about. This movie is interesting and keeps you wanting to watch more as they discover the truth. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did.

This movie was a Horror/Drama about a boy who had no friends. He didn’t speak the entire movie, he just used his phone and an app. A mysterious app gets downloaded and this creature breaks into our world. This misunderstood creature torments everyone around the boy. This movie will definitely have you biting at your nails.

Twilight is a romance/ Fantasy about a human girl, Bella, falling in love with the mysterious Edward. She moves in with her dad to Forks; a cold -wet small town. Bella then reconnects with her old friend Jacob. Further into the movie she comes to realize Edward is very different from any other person, he’s a vampire. This movie consists of romance, drama and thrill. You’re bound to be on the seat of your chair watching this teen- flick. Great movie!

This film was dark and suspenseful and very twisted at times, but it was very well made in my opinion. It follows the story of several people who's stories overlap and eventually reach one final conclusion. The complexity of the stories intertwining wasn't all too confusing as long as you pay attention. It got very dark at some points in the film, but I enjoy darker more suspenseful type movies so it did bother me. There was a pretty good moment in the movie where it all came together and it was actually very satisfying. If you are interested in a well dark but told story like this definitely give this movie a try.

This movie, Jaws 1, was incredibly executed from each role of the actors to just every scene in general. Start to finish this movie and the rest of Spielberg's Jaws movies were top charts. The screenplay, music, editing, and pictures/images this movie had did deserve the specific awards it received overall. The simple high- concepts were truly something else of this adventurous and action pact film. I recommend really anyone to watch Jaws 1 and all the others.

The Florida Project is a story that follows a single mother, Halle, and her daughter, Moonee, living in poverty. We see the world through Moonee's eyes and what life is like from her point of view living at the Magic Castle motel. The film takes place over a summer and we see Moonee getting into all kinds of troubles with her friends and just being an innocent carefree child. At the same time, we also see Halle struggling to make ends meet for her and her kid. It's a heat breaking story that shows the reality of what it is like for some families dealing with poverty and homelessness.

The movie is about two teenagers who best friends who have to cover up an accident and their friendship is put to the test. The movie has such a great atmosphere and keeps you on the edge of your seat. It has some great acting with actors that you kind of like kind of don't. The movie consist of an amazing plot that is delivered in the best way possible. This has to be one of my favorite movies, it just as as whole is amazingly done.

A teen called Gary Unwin, whose father worked for a spy organization lives in an London estate. Agent Harry Harp saw potential for him and recruits him for the secret service. The villainous character Richmond Valentine plans a evil attack and plans to have a worldwide killing spree. The secret service will be trained and be ready to fight the villain. It is a very action and funny movie.

This movie was one of the worst attempts at a documentary that may have ever been made. It attempted to portray Michael Jackson as a pedophile that had molested the two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, that were telling their stories. Many tried to jump at the opportunity to bash Jackson on new accusations but it was soon revealed that the documentary contained hundreds of inconstancies and blatant lies. They had reportedly spent 2 years making the film and yet still told of impossible timelines, stated contradictory stories, and told lies that were easily debunked. Not only was the film four hours of complete hearsay about a dead man that could not defend himself or be protected by law, but it also didn't include anybody that could give another side, like witnesses or Jackson's family members. Lastly, the film began to be produced at a convenient time for Robson as he had recently been denied a job at a MJ Productions show and had went bankrupt. Robson had also previously been a witness defending Jackson in the 2003 trial and both of the men's lawsuits against MJ Productions have been thrown out of court, leaving the men with absolutely no credibility.

The Martian is about a man named Mark Watney who gets stranded on Mars and has to survive long enough for a rescue team to get to him. Although the movie is not necessarily action-packed, one of the aspects that make it so appealing is because of how it is full of emotion and heart. You can feel the desperation when the times look bleak and you could feel the hope when times were looking up. Additionally, the conflicts faced by the characters within the movie were relatable in the sense that the problems had to do with families and tough decisions. Anyone can understand how hard it is to make any decision when it involves your family. All in all, the movie is different from other space-oriented movies such as Star Wars but I think that these differences were not detriments and were instead unique parts of the movie that made it its own.

If you're in love with history that's been blown completely out of proportions, then this is the movie for you! The Mummy is hands down one of my all-time favorites. It revolves around this archaeologist named Evie and her brother who goes exploring with this American dude and releases an ancient evil. The rest of the screen is occupied by this CGI mummy who tries to kill all of them. Throughout the movie, you're taken across Egypt (most desert) through modern times and ancient. The start of the movie has a lot of flashbacks that set up the plot. It also delves into Egyptian mythology and their beliefs in the afterlife. It's interesting. Action-packed. Even education. To a degree. I have watched this movie too many times to count, and keep watching it. It's pretty family-friendly except for the excessive usage of dynamite. So you can pop this movie in after dinner time. Go and watch it! You won't be sorry!
