Students shall participate each school day in classes and adherence to the daily class schedule. Students that do not meet daily progress and completion of assigned performance tasks for the day/week, will be counted absent.
Published Google Meet (K-5) sessions require student's attendance and participation.
Students/ families enrolled in MyLCPS Online shall follow and be held accountable to all attendance expectations, regulations, and laws.
Attendance will be monitored twice per day for all students. Student attendance will be monitored at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm daily. Students are expected to log in and participate between 8:00am and 11:00am AND during the hours of 12:00am - 2:00 pm. Students that do not participate during both time frames, will be counted absent.

Grade level standards work: Complete assigned Language Arts and Math work in Odyssey Tab. All assignments in folder(s) are due on Friday,May 6th. (Please notice this is a one week assignment)
K: Reading -- K Reading Course 2: The Sights and Sounds of m and s “Background Story” and “Sounds, Letters, and Words” Math - K Math Course 2: What's Cooking?: first 3 folders: (Snack Time, Harriet's Piggy Bank and Describe Objects).
2nd: Reading - 2nd Reading Course 2: Phonics, Fluency, Comp: 4 (all) Math - 2nd Math Course 2: Operations: next 4 folders ( Using Models to Add within 1,000, Two-digit addition, Adding Whole Numbers, and Using Models to Solve Subtraction Word Problems).
3rd: Reading - 3rd Reading Course 2: Comprehension: Literature: first three: Asking Questions, Making Inferences and Drawing Conclusions, and Finding the Central Message of Folk Stories or Myths. Math - 3rd Math Course 2: Multiplication and Division- 3 folders “Multiples and Arrays”, “Multiply 2-digits by 1-digit”, and “Multiply by a Multiple of Ten”.

*Open eBooks - It is an app that allows you to read free ebooks on your smartphone or tablet. Download the app (Open eBooks) and choose login to Clever.
*Sora-Students now have access to Sora which gives students free access to online books of all grade levels. You can also download the app, Sora, by Overdrive at the app store for your Android or IOS device.
To access Sora on your Chromebook go to: www.letcher.kyschools.us, Quick Links, Clever Portal, choose Login w/Google, scroll down to Library Resources, click Sora, and Sign In using Letcher County School District, and click your name. You can also add Ky. Libraries Unbound which provides access to local libraries. Click the three lines at the top right of the page, Add a Library, type in zip code, and select This is my library under Kentucky Libraries Unbound.
