Week of 4-25-22 K-3 Daily Assignments:

• Grade level standards work: Complete assigned Language Arts and Math work in Odyssey Tab. All assignments in folder(s) are due on Friday,April 22nd. (Please notice this is a one week assignment)

• K: Reading -- K Reading Course 2: Active Listening and Sound: 2 folders “Background and Story” and “Sounds, Letters, and Words” Math - K Math Course 2: Let's Go on a Safari: “Count Objects up to 20”, “Count out a Number of Objects”, “Animal Keeper at Work”, and “Make a 10” . Take Chapter Test: Let’s Go on a Safari.

• 2nd: Reading - 2nd Reading Course 2: Phonics, Fluency, Comp: 3- 3 folders “ow, ou, oi, oy: Context Clues”, “R-Controlled -ear; Irregular Plural Nouns; Story Structure” and “str, spr; Sequence Events”. Math - 2nd Math Course 2: Operations- 5 folders “Fact Families”, “Grouping Property”, “Using Models to Solve Addition Word Problems”, “Using Strategies to Add Within 100” and “Adding up to Four 2-Digit Numbers”.

• 3rd: Reading - 3rd Reading Course 2: Process Skills: Think Alouds- complete all.(Level 1, 2, and 3) Math - 3rd Math Course 2: Addition and Subtraction- complete all; “Addition”, “Subtraction”, and Estimate Sums and Differences”. Also do Multiplication and Division- 1 folder “Introduction to Multiplication”.

• 15 Minutes per Day: Work in Reading and Math Pathblazers folders

• Science Work - Grades 1-3 Only.

• 2nd: Go to www.getepic.com/students and use the code “ncz1668” and select the student’s name. Complete the assignment in their epic mailbox. Read “Life Cycle of a Ladybug” and take the quiz.

• 3rd: Ecology- 1 folder “Extinction” and Chapter Test: Ecology.

• Social Studies Work - Grades 2-3 Only.

• 2nd: Go to www.getepic.com/students and use the code “ncz1668” and select the student’s name. Complete the assignment in their epic mailbox. Read “My Government: Executive Branch” (take the quiz).

• 3rd: Rural, Suburban, Urban Region: 1 folder “Characteristics”.
