Students shall participate each school day in classes and adherence to the daily class schedule. Students that do not meet daily progress and completion of assigned performance tasks for the day/week, will be counted absent.
Published Google Meet (K-5) sessions require student's attendance and participation.
Students/ families enrolled in MyLCPS Online shall follow and be held accountable to all attendance expectations, regulations, and laws.
Attendance will be monitored twice per day for all students. Student attendance will be monitored at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm daily. Students are expected to log in and participate between 8:00am and 11:00am AND during the hours of 12:00am - 2:00 pm. Students that do not participate during both time frames, will be counted absent.

Starting with “Once upon a time,” go back and forth with an adult or sibling, one word at a time, to make up an entire story together!

*Sing your favorite song from music class for a family member. Tell that person why you love it so much. Be sure to use your Singing Voice!
*Go outside and play for at least 30 minutes. If the weather isn’t nice, do 15 squat jumps, 20 jumping jacks, 20 sit-ups, 10 push-ups, and dance to your favorite music.

Create an obstacle course and go through it several times. Challenge someone to race you using a timer.
*Emoji Story: Tell the story of the Three Bears using only emojis. Draw them on a piece of paper. Share the story with a family member.

*STEM challenge: How Long of a Chain Can You Make With One Piece of Paper? Use one piece of paper, some tape (or a glue stick), and scissors. Cut the paper into strips or pieces to make loops. Think of ways to make your loops so that your chain will be longer. How long do you think you can make your chain? Once you are finished, record how long your chain actually was.
