When thinking about designing instruction using technology I always have a small panic attack as technology just isn't my strong suit when it comes to instruction. I am learning more and more how to incorporate technology into my preschool classroom and the ways that I can use technology tools to enhance the learning in my classroom. One way that I have learned to use technology was to design my own Blog page and publish it. This can actually help me educate others on the things that I am learning about early childhood because I want to continue to blog the skills I learn through my blog in order to help others become more knowledgably about early childhood as well. Another way I am learning to use technology in my classroom is by designing activities that I can create online and the students can do them on their iPad or on paper. This differentiates the activity and meets the different needs of my students. I wil share one of those activities here for you to see. I am learning that other than time to create and deisng with technology it actually is not as hard or scary as I make it out to be.

This is my blog where I will continue to share best practices on early childhood and my mindset on education. I think that this will be a great tool to help others learn about all things education that I learn. I love the idea of having a place where I can put all of my thoughts and share my brain with as many others that choose to read my blogs.
Classroom Activities:
This is an I SPY game that I would let the kids each have a copy of that I created online. Then I would also have this up on the big screen. I would play the game with the kids. I would say "I spy an upper case "A" on the library wall", "Who sees it", as they answer then we all color in an upper case A and so on. I would also color one in on mine on the big screen so they can see it visually for those that may need that help. I am going to create these for all of the letters and it be a fun engaging activity we do throughout the year until they learn the game themselves and then put this into stations for them to do together while I am running small group.
