What a busy start we've had to the Spring term!
In our Maths lessons the children have enjoyed measuring length and more recently collecting, presenting and analysing data.
During Number Day we braved the weather to carry out a traffic survey. The children were surprised by the amount of cars we counted and the lack of motorbikes! Swans also enjoyed taking part in Maths related activities during the day.
In our Art lessons we have learnt about a number of different artists and investigated their work, use of colour and brush strokes.
Swans thoroughly enjoyed using the Lego Spike sets during our Computing lessons this half term, working together to build models and creating the coding to make them move.
In Science lessons we have been learning about micro-habitats and the children went on a mini-beast hunt, using their Chromebooks to take photos of animals in their natural environment.
Our Design Technology learning has focused on mechanisms and the children have designed and made a working scale model of a ferris wheel.
I hope you have a restful half term break.
