Nursery
It has been a busy half-term! The children have settled back in beautifully, and the nursery has been buzzing with energy, curiosity, and a lot of creative play. Here is a look at what we’ve been up to:
Our "All Around the World" theme has taken us on some incredible imaginary journeys!
Construction & Rescue: We’ve been busy in the mud, rescuing cars and exploring how big diggers work.
Holiday Travels: Our fantastic new sand pit has been a huge hit! The children have been imagining going on holiday, packing their bags, and jetting off to sunny destinations across the globe.
Bird Watching Week: We turned into little explorers! The children practiced being very quiet and patient while observing our feathered friends.
Creative Arts: With Valentine's Day just around the corner, we have been busy making beautiful flowers to show our appreciation for the people we love.
We’ve had some very exciting sessions focusing on nature and physical development:
Fire Making: In Forest School, the children learned about fire safety and watched how a small campfire is built.
In PE, our word of the term was Balance. We’ve been testing our skills by navigating beams of all different sizes, building core strength and confidence!
