YEAR 3

Welcome back to the Summer Term!  Our topic in Science is Humans and other Animals.  We have started our learning by looking at the human skeleton and comparing it to animal skeletons.  We will be learning about South America and Rio in Geography this half term and basing our work in English on the Great Kapok Tree by Lynne Cherry.  We have moved on to fractions in Maths and learning about different Relationships in our PSHE lessons.

Last week we worked with Jayne from Grow, Cook, Enjoy and learnt about bees and why they are important.  The children enjoyed looking at honeycomb and tasting some honey.

Before the Easter break Puffins enjoyed our residential trip to Sayers Croft.  The children were great ambassador for our school and the boys won the best dormitory competition!!
