Year 3 loved taking part in 'Outdoor learning day' last week. The children were able to use chalk on the playground to draw their own pictures, practise times tables, spellings or just enjoy doodling! It was fantastic to see all the children having such a great time enjoying the sunshine outdoors!

Upcoming Learning

Maths: After half term we will be focusing on 'mass' we will be converting grams to kilograms and looking at different increments on scales.

English: In English we will be writing our non-chronological reports all about Queen Elizabeth II.

Humanities: We are excited to be continuing our topic of the Tudors, we will be looking at different styles of Tudor coin purses.

Science: In Science we are carrying on learning about plants focusing on the naming the different parts and dissecting a flower to support this understanding.
