Dear Parents/Carers
We would like to wish everyone a very happy half term. We do hope you enjoy the sunny weather and the Jubilee celebrations! We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday 7th June.
Our Jubilee May Fair this year was a huge success! Many thanks to Becky and Angela, our PTFA chairs, along with their wonderful team of helpers, for tirelessly organising and running such a great event!
Please see their incredibly positive report below:
On 14th May 2022, the PTFA was delighted to hold the Jubilee May Fair at Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy. After two years of restrictions, it was exciting to create memories once again. The event was a huge success, helped by great weather and a huge turn out.
It was wonderful to see so many families with picnic blankets enjoying the sunshine, the refreshments and the music, kindly provided by ‘Let’s Go Disco Kids’. We even had to replenish the stocks of ice-cream!
In the run up to the event, our red, white and blue themed muftis raised £975.60 and the online raffle entries for advanced purchases raised nearly £700!
We introduced a token system at the fair and thank everyone for their patience with this new system. We are hoping to go completely cashless at the next fair, apart from our external stallholders who will still be accepting cash. It was very exciting having new stalls such as the 'Cake Off', 'Jubilee colouring table and 'Guess the number of balloons in the Mini'. It was wonderful that 'Beat the Goalie' welcomed new goalkeepers: our very own Miss McNulty and our school football team goalies. Every stall was a success and this wouldn't have been possible without your support. We'd like to thank everyone who donated and everyone who volunteered, making the event the success it was.
The PTFA would like to express huge gratification to the Senior Leadership Team for their undeniable support and guidance as well as all the TAs, teachers, admin. and maintenance staff who helped in the lead up to and on the day itself. This wouldn’t have been as successful without the support the PTFA receives from the school.
We are pleased to announce that the fair raised in excess of £6,000. Thank you so much!
We are already planning events for the rest of the year. We have our Father's Day gifts initiative, 5-a-side football tournament with StayActive, and, of course, we are hoping that Covid won't prevent us from our famous ‘Winter Wonderland’.
Thank you once again and let’s look forward to brighter times and raising more money to benefit our children.
From all the PTFA team.
Huge congratulations to our jubilee cake competition winners - Ray in Y2 and Ted in Y6. Their winning designs were made into cakes by our talented cooks and a slice given to children on both sites.

The girls' team from Cheam Park Farm were unlucky in the group stages after drawing two and losing two, meaning they didn’t make it to final, but did a fantastic job in representing our school and the club.
Children across all years at Cheam Park Farm continue to work hard on their Doodle Maths, Doodle English and times tables both at home and at school which is great!
Last week the top Doodlers were Mulberry Class.
This week Yellow Class are our top Doodlers.

We also give one child per class a 'Be The Best You Can Be' certificate for demonstrating our Excellent Learner values. We now also award a 'Rights Respecting' certificate to one child per class for demonstrating behaviour and attitudes that reflect our Rights Respecting approach in school.
