The Pono Pōpoki Project (PPP) was formed at Le Jardin Academy in the Fall of 2022 as a response to the free-roaming cat crisis on O’ahu as it exists on and around our campus. Our collective group of LJA employees, secondary students, and parent volunteers, as overseen by the school administration, work collaboratively to run a TNRM (trap-neuter-return-manage) program to humanely reduce abandoned and feral cat populations over time in ways that mitigate risks to the environment.

IMPORTANT:
The cats at LJA are not pets.
Please do not touch or feed our campus cats.
For your safety and the safety of the animals, only approved colony caretakers feed the cats.
Mahalo for your kōkua!
