Funding

We are currently funded by an R01 grant from the National Institutes of Health: National Institue for Deafness and other Communication Disorders to investigate the development of central circuitry after disruption of input from the ear in the early embryo.

My collaborations in Germany have been funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung/Foundation since 2005.

We have been supported for two years by the Mountaintop Project program at Lehigh to support our interdisciplinary work on finding solutions for cochlear implant patients to aid in language development.
