To send a high school transcript through CFNC.org, start at the Application Hub. There are two ways to send your transcript:
Send a transcript with your college application.
Many colleges that use the CFNC online application will ask you on the form if you’d like to send your transcript. Simply check the box and your transcript will automatically be requested and sent.
Send a transcript separately.
If you missed the above step on your application, or you didn’t use CFNC to send your college application, you can still use your CFNC Account to send transcripts to schools.
In the Application Hub, click on Request a Transcript.
You’ll be asked to verify your information, including name, email, N.C. student number, and date of birth.
Select your high school.
Select up to five colleges you want to receive your transcript. If you need to send transcripts to more than five schools, just repeat the process to request a transcript again. You can choose up to five schools with each request. You can also monitor the status of your transcript requests in the Application Hub. Transcripts become available for the college to upload very quickly, but it may take 2-3 weeks for it to be processed. If you have questions, call the college’s admissions office or check your CFNC account for the progress information.
The Lee County Schools System is now offering a secure site for current and former students to access transcripts, attendance, and employment verifications.
Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.
